Cement Mixer Drum

Two identical concrete mixer drums sit before us, each boasting remarkably similar dimensions. However, one drum stands out with an added neck at its open end, designed to provide superior support under heavy loads. Both drums boast a 6mm diameter hole on the closed side, reinforced by a sturdy internal spinner for added durability. Moreover, each drum features a pair of spiral flights, engineered to facilitate effortless mixing and extraction operations. The drum captured in our photo was expertly printed at half scale (200mm in length) with the intention of mounting it on a compact radio-controlled truck. Its full-scale counterpart, however, is more than capable of handling substantial loads, effortlessly mixing multiple shovel-fulls of sand, cement, or aggregate as needed. Feel free to scale up or down to suit your needs; the only dimension that significantly changes is the diameter of the bar you'll need to glue in place for attaching a drive motor.
