# Enhanced Design and Now Suitable for 3D Printing! Read Down Here The first version was a huge success, but it certainly had its flaws, so I didn't stop there. Instead, I improved the filter system, increasing the filtering surface by over 77%. Additionally, the tabs have been redesigned for easier insertion, and the perforated surfaces have been minimized to reduce air infiltration. I left the original files in a zip file for reference, please download CeMask_by_Cuore_e_Martello_v2.* files. March 2020 was a chaotic time, with COVID-19 wreaking havoc on our lives. In Italy, especially in Lombardy, the situation was critical, and personal protective equipment was in short supply. I thought of dedicating my time to creating a mask that could be made at home by anyone with a laser cutting machine and distributed in the neighborhood to those who needed it. I discovered the design of iczfirz, a maker from Hong Kong, and decided to modify it to completely separate it from 3D printing. After a week of work and several prototypes, CeMask - Facial Flexible Mask was born. CeMask is a half-mask with interchangeable filters (made of non-woven fabric) designed to be made of plastic or cardboard with a maximum thickness of 0.5 mm. DISCLAIMER: This mask is not designed to protect the wearer from viruses; it's intended, similar to a surgical mask, to support the protection of those around us in case we are infected. It's not intended for use in hospital environments and does not have any type of certification or guarantee against infection from external microorganisms. The template includes: Main piece 2 filter covers Filters cutting mask 2 tools for filters positioning The extra material needed is: 14 cm or 5 1/2" of wire Rubber bands or similar The mask is sized for an adult with a medium head circumference and fits me and my girlfriend as well.
