Celtic Tree Of Life Pendant
thingiverse
A Celtic tree of life pendant emerges from a 3D printed form, carefully crafted with Hatchbox White PLA material at a .200 resolution and a temperature of 195C. The printed pendant is then sanded to smooth out its surface, revealing intricate details in the knot strands. To achieve an aged look reminiscent of antique carved bone, I employed a unique painting technique. First, I applied a coat of black acrylic paint evenly across the entire pendant. Next, using alcohol and rags, I carefully wiped away most of the paint, leaving behind a subtle residue that accentuates the ridges and corners. The result is a beautiful, weathered appearance that adds depth to the Celtic tree design. To complete this piece, I plan to attach a pendant bail at the top center, where it will blend seamlessly into the middle branch.
