Celtic knots are renowned as endless knots due to their perpetual nature. They symbolize the eternal essence of nature. Celtic Tree of Life knots exemplify the intricate union of a tree's roots and branches, showcasing the continuous cycle of life on earth. This design has been crafted with precision, despite being drawn with a continuous line; my 3D printer still managed to utilize retraction effectively. This coaster is designed for housing your favorite beverage. Its standard size measures 100 by 100 by 5 mm, ensuring it fits perfectly in my custom-made coaster holder. The model was printed using Ultimaker white PLA, employing a layer height of 0.2mm and 18% infill. A 0.4mm nozzle was used with the extruder set at 210 degrees Celsius. A heated bed was utilized to achieve optimal results. To prevent curling at the bottom, a brim was applied. Feel free to experiment with your own configuration settings. I designed this project by selecting a logo from my browser and converting it into an SVG format using Inkscape. The file was then opened in Blender, where I transformed it into a 3D object. Subsequent repairs were made in Meshmixer, where I also added a coaster and merged the two components after scaling the image. The model was saved as a STL file and sliced for printing. However, despite the initial repair, the model still required further refinement. I opted to utilize Netfabb Online Service, an application that offers unlimited STL fixing procedures, in contrast to MakePrintable's limited options. This decision proved successful, allowing me to slice the model without any issues.
