This Ceiling Fan/Light pull chain knob, handle, finial, fob is designed specifically for standard #6 (3.2mm) ball chain usage. It also works seamlessly with smaller chains as long as a #6 metal connector is used. THIS VERSION WILL PRINT WITHOUT SUPPORTS AND COMES IN TWO SIZES FOR EASE OF USE. Simply feed the chain through the top of the print and attach a standard #6 connector to it. When using a ball chain and metal connector, you can form a loop around a keyring and hook up the other end of the connector. If no metal connector is available, you can print the BALL-CONNECTOR.stl file provided. NOTE: if printed in PLA, the connector may be a tight fit. Lay the chain on a hard surface, position the connector over the last ball of the chain, and push down until it snaps into place. You can also use string with a large knot tied at the end. Typically, I print things with 10% infill - HOWEVER, when used on a ceiling fan, you may want to use higher infill for added weight.
