Celtic Skull Glowing Eyes Charm

Celtic Skull Glowing Eyes Charm

Anticipating Halloween, I decided to create a Celtic Skull model for glow necklaces. After flattening it slightly and adding a hexagonal hole for USglow 7mm necklaces, the result exceeded expectations! When printed with non-opaque materials like Afinia's glow in the dark green ABS on a Makerbot Replicator with Sailfish at 100 micron layers, sliced using Skeinforge, the eyes would glow when the glow necklace was activated. I produced a few more in pale green (Afinia), orange (colorFabb Dutch Orange PLA/PHA on an Ultimaker at 80 micron layers, sliced with Cura), and red (colorFabb Traffic Red PLA/PHA on a Robo3D at 100 micron layers, sliced with Slic3r). If you like the colorFabb designs, feel free to message me for more information. An update on 8/19/13 clarified that I initially uploaded gcode instead of the stl file; if you downloaded before this update, check your files again as there's a lower polycount version in the QEC file. Remember to print with three perimeters, no support needed, and depending on your printer's bridging capabilities, infill may or may not be required.
