Celtic Lamp

Celtic Lamp

While open to interpretation, I envisioned this design as a compact lamp. The rectangular lantern features intricate Celtic sailor knots etched onto five of its open faces, with a holder inside for an electric tea light candle at its center. This enables precise reflection of the Celtic patterns on surrounding surfaces. I specified electric tea light candles because using a flame-based candle may overheat or scorch the top of the lamp due to its proximity to the candle holder. The base of the lantern is designed to fit snugly with the lid, causing minimal obstruction to the Celtic knot pattern. Both the base and the lid are spaced apart to allow for easy separation. When oriented with its top facing upwards, I suggest printing it upside down to minimize support usage. Furthermore, the carved patterns may require some minor supports during the printing process, which can be easily removed afterwards.
