Celtic Knotwork (Zoomorphic) Coaster

Celtic Knotwork (Zoomorphic) Coaster

thingiverse

A proof-of-concept using the Zoomorph knotwork (links lower down) to make a coaster. The python needed tweaking to get it to work properly for generating unicode, so I will do something about that. The text needed some post-processing - there are a few tiny mistakes in the font render, which became noticeable when converting to a 3d object. So, that was done in illustrator, extruded and sized in blender, and then fixed in NanoDLP online. It's a bit of a long journey, which could definitely be made more easy, but the effect is pretty good. It makes a reasonable coaster too! https://fontlibrary.org/en/font/knots https://github.com/MrBenGriffin/Knot
