I am remaking this piece without any visible supporting pillars, leaving the bottom of the item completely flat in the process. I love the original look, but those support beams were necessary to allow it to be 3D printed in one seamless go. Now, the removal of those supports should be smooth sailing and leave no lingering marks behind.
