Celtic Knot 3D ring
thingiverse
The Celtic Knot pattern is presented in a double ring form with six points. The STL files were generated using Steve Abbott's Knot3D software (http://www.stevenabbott.co.uk/Knots/knots.html). A dual-colored version is the next step to create. Printing this design on a 3D printer, such as a Replicator, requires external support and a raft. It took approximately two hours for printing with dimensions of around 10cm in width. The K3D file is included along with the settings used in Knot3D. An update has added two untested STL files named "Celtic ring A & B," created by an intricate deconvolution algorithm that splits the original STL file into halves.
