Celtic Heart Knot Stereographic Projection
thingiverse
This is a modified stereographic projection of a classic Celtic knot that incorporates an integrated heart rather than a separate ring. To examine it closely, place the model on a flat surface and then position a point light source, such as an LED, exactly 100 mm above the center of the model. Alternatively, you can print the provided cap to secure a 5mm LED in its designated spot. The included combined model and cap version are also available; however, getting supports out of this particular design may be quite challenging. The download includes two distinct variations. I have supplied the cleaned-up exported vectors from my SolidWorks sketch for this project. Additionally, I have created a colored bonus version of the alternate one. Feel free to utilize them under the same license terms as before (CC Attribution, Non-Commercial). My main objective was to experiment with creating a stereographic projection model using SolidWorks. The resulting image was then rendered in Blender.
