Cellular Soccer Boot (Inspired by Second Skin)

We recently stumbled upon a fake news story about 3D printed shoes (http://www.uksoccershop.com/blog/game-changer-3d-printed-boots/), but the real technique is actually 3D knitting, not 3D printing. Still, we appreciate the design's structure and decided to create & 3D print our own version! Of course, we know the shoe isn't wearable yet - the thickness needs to be significantly lower, and some soft layer should be added to prevent friction between the foot and the nylon surface. The boot was printed on an SLS 3D printer, requiring no support. However, if you want to print it in resin or PLA, you may need to add some supports.
