The Cellstruder v2 builds on the original design of Cellstruder v1 (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:109040) and features a retractable syringe thanks to its enclosed structure that houses a lead nut for retraction on the 100mm long, 8mm wide lead screw. It also includes an upgraded LM8UU holder for better linear bearing grip and a standard printed x-carriage syringe holder. Key components include a NEMA 17 motor, LM8UU bearings, 125mm smooth rod, 26mm 5x8mm motor coupler shaft, 4mm wide screws (10mm long), and corresponding lead nuts with 4mm openings. To use, remove the plunger from a 20-gauge, 1.5" Luer syringe, insert the barrel, then add the plunger for 20mL syringes; smaller syringes simply slip in. For slicing, use Sli3er and avoid using Cura or similar slicers that may misread STL files. Any questions can be directed to rsol@seas.upenn.edu.
