I wanted a charging stand where I could use my phone while keeping it charged. A remix of thing 1938639 worked, but only when the phone was positioned at a shallow angle than what I preferred. So, I added a second hole to accommodate the phone when it's closer to a 90-degree angle. Thing 1387260 has excellent photos showcasing all the ways this stand can hold my phone. As you can see from the images, the stand works perfectly in both portrait and landscape orientations. I can charge my phone while holding it in portrait mode with the screen tipped upwards or vertically if I place it on the edge of a shelf near eye level.
