The charging plug keeps falling out of my phone so I made this doohickey to hold it in securely. It's tall enough to straddle one of those collapsing knobs on the back of the case and it's long enough to straddle a soft shell protector. Has to be printed with support all over but it's only needed in one small spot so it should print in less than two hours. This one is the right size to fit an iPhone 6; for another size phone just stretch or shrink one axis with your slicer. For a more adjustable version print the next two files. The slide is a pretty tight fit on the rail so use a Rout-a-Burr on the sharp edges of the rail for a smoother fit before assembly. 2020_03_30: -Added Base_06T.stl With this accessory the phone will sit face-up on a desk. Holes are pre-threaded M4 and a pair of thumbscrews will be needed to lock the rail in place. The 'mouse ears' are to keep it firmly affixed to the printer but they can be broken off when the part is done. This thing works so well I think I'll give 'em away for Xmas presents this year. :-) 2020_04_10 -The last three files will allow two rails to be joined. I picked a rail center-to-center distance of 20mm which matches the distance between headphone and charging jack on an iPhone 6. If the distance is different on your device just stretch one axis when you print the spacer. -The new base is 5mm taller than the first one to accommodate the spacer slot. 2020_04_13: -Testing shows that the Rail Spacers stay in place fine without the wedges so I've deleted them and redesigned the Spacers to be easier to insert in the Rail slots.
