I made this doohickey to keep my phone's charging plug from falling out and I'm happy with the result. The tall design allows it to straddle one of those collapsing knobs on the back of the case, while its length lets it straddle a soft shell protector. Printing it will require support all over, but since it only needs support in one small spot, it should print quickly, likely under two hours. This specific design is perfect for an iPhone 6; if you have another size phone, simply adjust one axis with your slicer to get the right fit. For a more adjustable version, try printing the next two files. The slide fits snugly onto the rail, so be sure to smooth out the sharp edges of the rail before assembly using a Rout-a-Burr. With this accessory, my phone will sit face-up on a desk. The holes are pre-threaded with M4 and all you'll need is a pair of thumbscrews to lock the rail in place. The 'mouse ears' that keep it firmly attached to the printer can be removed once the part is done. I'm so impressed with how well this thing works, I think I might just give them away as Xmas presents this year!
