Cello bow guide

Cello bow guide

Designed to fit snugly over strings and secure in place with straps - I prefer Velcro but other fastening methods work just as well. This clever device keeps the bow firmly anchored, preventing it from floating up and down the strings at will. It's particularly useful for novice cellists like myself who are still finding their footing on the instrument. However, you may need to resize it to fit your cello's unique bridge. The bottoms of the arches are designed to rest comfortably in the wells of the rectangular "feet", which can be adjusted to match the contours of your cello. To prevent damaging the finish of your instrument, I recommend placing a layer of cork or felt under the feet of the guide. This ingenious device is remarkably easy to resize using your preferred tool - I use Tinkercad to create custom sizes for different cellos, violins, and violas.
