Stylish cell vases tailored specifically for in-house planting and decoration are showcased here. Two files comprise this design, the open file perfect as a decorative model while the closed one serves both as decoration and planter. Small escape holes ensure excess water can exit the vase. Printing Tips (FDM): To print this design successfully, you may need to enable Z-hop for FDM 3D printers. Your machine must be highly calibrated to produce an excellent finish. "Detour Factor" is a powerful setting worth considering when using Simplify3D. The models in the pictures were created with Formlabs Form 2 SLA 3D printer. I have also experimented with FDM and found it works fine, although prints lack the shiny clean finish that SLA 3D printers provide.
