This beefed up version of the [ppet36 iPhone Tripod](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1148654) was a necessary modification to ensure its survival in a suitcase during a vacation. I redesigned it with thicker legs and other enhancements to guarantee its durability. For ease of printing and added strength, I uploaded separated pieces that could be rotated for flat laying. To assemble the tripod, I used an 8/32 x 2" Socket Head Cap Screw and Wing Nut. An elastic can be employed to secure the phone to the mount if needed. There are two mounts available: one features a .45" opening, while the other has a .50" opening. This modified tripod performed exceptionally well during a vacation, particularly when capturing pictures of the northern lights.
