Cell phone stand
thingiverse
I was looking for a sturdy phone stand that could charge my device while I use it, so I designed this thing. It holds my Lumia 640 at an angle of approximately 15 degrees and is built to last. The stand's design makes it compatible with most phones narrower than 80mm. The charging hole accommodates any cord less than 13mm wide and 7mm tall, which covers a vast range of possibilities. I've uploaded an updated version called mk3, which requires significantly less plastic. This new design prints in just 25% of the original material. To create this stand, I used Fusion 360 for designing and Repetier Host with CuraEngine for slicing. The printing process involved blue PLA from 3DNet.no. Please note that I do not recommend printing the stand on its side; instead, print it upright to ensure a smooth and successful print job.
