Cell Phone Stand

This is a recreation of the 30pin iPhone & iPad Stand by CallJoe. I wanted to give it a twist, so I added some graphics to the back for a friend who loves playing golf. To accommodate this, I made the stand slightly wider and lowered the front, but that was a mistake, as the charge plug no longer fits perfectly. A simple solution is to rotate the phone into landscape mode and attach the charger. Using Tinkercad, I recreated the stand, adding a golf ball and club in Blender. The base had already been started in Tinkercad, with the golf ball and club being an afterthought. I printed it using PETG plastic on my Geeetech I3x machine, which worked reasonably well. However, the print speed was slow, taking 15 hours to complete. To speed up the process, trying a narrower setting or switching to PLA might be beneficial, as PETG prefers a slower pace. Supports were used for the golf club head, but not for the golf ball due to an oversight in Slic3r. The golf ball turned out well, creating its own shelf to rest on. When printing, laying it down produces better results.
