Cell phone dock for MR2 Spyder
thingiverse
This clever design is printed in two pieces, with a thoughtful method for keeping everything securely in place and shaded from the sun. To assemble it, open the dash cubby lid and snap the upper part of the phone holder into the top latch firmly. The bottom section of the phone holder then sets snugly into the latch hole at the bottom. Next, place your phone into the holder and close the lid down onto it, ensuring everything stays together perfectly - even in tight spaces. Run a USB cable behind the dash and through a small hole in the cubby box to keep things tidy. When you're ready to remove your phone, simply tuck everything back into the cubby and close the lid. This particular design accommodates a Pixel 3a phone with a slim case: 156mm x 75mm x 12mm - leaving some extra room for adjustment. If you have a wider phone, it will still fit just fine; the cubby lid might just rest a bit higher than usual. For longer phones, simply cut out the small wall on the right edge of the bottom section to make room. Thicker phones may require stretching the bottom segment during printing to ensure a secure fit.
