Hello, Today I'm sharing a phone holder I designed. Its movable arms close together when the phone presses down on its stand, ensuring it's securely held. The base has a compartment that needs to be filled with sand or another heavy substance to make it stable. Each arm features a hole in the back where you can fit a screw that makes the arm slightly heavier than its feet. This allows the arms to open by themselves when the phone is removed from its cradle. One more tip: If you decide to make one, remember to put the bolts in place before closing the movable parts compartment. It will be very hard to reopen even without the screws.
