Cell Phone Charger Tray

I drew inspiration from the Cell Phone charging Shelf by gigl and the Wall Outlet Shelf from tosh. Taking a cue from their innovative approaches, I created this design entirely from scratch within SketchUp. My goal was to craft a tray specifically tailored for larger phones like the Galaxy Note 4. The dimensions of the tray are approximately 80 x 125 x 4 mm. The plug itself fits perfectly with the charger designed for the aforementioned phone, as depicted in the image. Following this creation, I developed a new version featuring a round hole in the center of the front part. This modification serves as an accessible charging port when the phone is positioned in portrait mode. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator I3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: Printed at 0.1, with potential for decent results at 0.3 Infill: Initially used 15% infill but encountered pillowing; may require increasing to 50% Notes: Utilized 50% infill, 1.5mm shell thickness, and 1.5mm Top/Bottom thickness in an attempt to prevent pillowing. This approach proved effective, though the design now feels slightly heavy. Considering the new shell/top/bottom thicknesses, I think the original 15% infill might be sufficient. Design Process: Building upon observations of the two designs previously acknowledged, I employed basic functions within SketchUp to create the desired shapes and connect them efficiently.
