Cell membrane

Cell membranes are composed of intricate models featuring phospholipids, channels, glycoproteins, and cholesterol molecules.\nI employed the VRay renderer to create these materials, which are also VRay-based. However, all textures used within them are standard procedural textures from 3ds Max.\nPhospholipid models are constructed using low-poly geometry, with a turbosmooth modifier applied for added detail. Without this modifier, each phospholipid model would consist of approximately 268,334 polygons.\nYou can easily tile this membrane fragment to create larger structures as needed.
