This is a custom adapter for securing 38mm legs on a Celestron tripod, designed to prevent them from unfolding during transport. It easily clicks into place and provides a secure fit. The part was printed in PETG for its exceptional strength and heat resistance properties, although PLA could also be used as an alternative material option. For optimal results, I would recommend utilizing a honeycomb infill pattern due to the unique shape of this object. In my previous attempts with a 45-degree hatch infill pattern, I experienced cracking issues likely caused by insufficient contact between the fill and perimeter walls.
