Celestron Red Dot Finder Short Adapter

Celestron Red Dot Finder Short Adapter

I always keep my scope assembled and simply throw a dust cover over it. The cover is a 13-gallon kitchen garbage bag that fits nearly perfectly almost everywhere except where the Red Dot Finder has an oversized adapter that keeps the finder farther away from the scope than necessary. So, I made this shorter adapter. The first picture shows how it looks with my shorter adapter, and the second picture is the original setup. Functionally, there's no difference between the two; you don't put your eye right up against it or anything. However, it makes the whole system a bit more compact, and now the garbage bag cover fits over easily. I printed this adapter in PLA Plus, which worked great for me since I didn't need any supports.
