# Rest your phone safely on the Celestron CGX Mount for Polar Align After being introduced to the daytime polar alignment app PS Align Pro, I decided to make a part on which my phone could rest whilst I adjusted the telescope Alt/Az bolts. One objective was to have sufficient width to support the phone in a stable manner, whilst also avoiding any ridges or bumps that might exist to protect the camera and flash light. A second objective was to try and lift the phone sufficiently high to avoid the mount interfering with the phones sensors (e.g. compass).
