Celestron CGX Mount USB Hub Holder
thingiverse
Hello everyone, I was looking for a solution to hold my USB3 Hub (usual Hub, can be found on Aliexpress) directly on my Celestron CGX mount. Until then, I used to hold it on the tripod but I was not satisfied because I had to unplug every cable before carrying the mount. The new solution is set directly on the mount. I addition, I used Silk Coper PLA which matches the original Celestron orange color pretty well. There are 3 parts. - Part 1: a plate which will be fixed onto the mount. One big hole (left one on the pictures) gets fitted onto the "pivot" screw of the mount. The other hole (right one on the pictures) will get a M4 screw in order to connect to part 2. In addition, there are 4 holes for M3 bolts to connect part 3 - Part 2: is used to hold the plate part 1 to the mount. It gets inside a M4 bolt. Part 2 is located on the other side o the CGX metal side plate. Part 1 & 2 are screwed up together on the CGX thanks to the M4 screw and bolt. - Part 3: gets the USB3 Hub. Is fixed to part 1 thanks to 4 M3 screws. My 3D Printer is a Anycubic i3 Mega. Eventually you need to widen stuff, depending on your own printer tolerances. At least it gives you some insperations to make your own.
