Celestron AVX Counterbalance to Olympic Adapter
thingiverse
You'll need a vice and a large wrench or clamp to drive it together the first time. The part began life as an M42 bolt and nut, which I adapted to hold an Olympic weight plate - a far more cost-effective option than Celestron weights. To tap the side hole, use a 1/4-20 tap. A small piece of rubber in the hole and a thumb screw made it easy to push through. You need something with some give to get a good grip on the bar.
