Celestron 925 9.25 Edge Rigid Dew Sheild

This is my custom-made dew shield design for a 9.25" Celestron Telescope, compatible with both Edge and XLT versions. The design allows for easy installation by snapping it onto the lens cover, featuring adjustable pin holders to secure the lens cover at the end of the dew shield. I have included SolidWorks files so you can scale this down to accommodate scopes smaller than 8 inches or as small as a 6" diameter model. However, please note that this model requires a high-resolution Z18 or Type 1A printer to print correctly. Be aware that printing this design will consume nearly 2 pounds of plastic filament, and I've experienced firsthand the lengthy printing time - my X18 took approximately 65 hours to complete on the "FAST" setting alone. To print successfully with default settings: You will need to modify your Z18 printer Use the standard "FAST" printing mode Additional requirements include a 2-pound spool of PLA filament and about 3 days to allow for a successful print cycle.
