Celestron 6x30 LER Adapter for Takahashi Mount

This adapter enables you to utilize a low-cost Celestron 6x30 LER finder as a polar scope for an EM-1S mount (it may also work with other Takahashi mounts). It's not meant to replace the exceptional Takahashi polar scope, but rather serves as a budget-friendly alternative if you don't have the polar scope and aren't willing to pay over $300 for one. Please note that the finder must be inserted into the adapter prior to attaching it to the Takahashi mount. The adapter fits snugly, making removal without a strap wrench difficult. You will also need to tap three circumferential holes with an M4 tap and install three M4 grub screws that secure the finder scope in place while allowing for limited adjustment of its pointing direction.
