Ceiling Light Rose

Ceiling Light Rose

thingiverse

After swapping our enormous hidden ceiling lights with state-of-the-art LED downlights, I was left with unsightly holes since the new fixtures were about 10mm smaller in diameter and boasted an unpleasant muck ring that the ceiling could have greatly benefited from a fresh coat of emulsion. My proposal was to craft a couple of traditional ceiling roses to conceal the holes; surprisingly, now it looks far better than the original fittings did. Instructions I discovered the optimal results were achieved by printing on a face-down ABS filament over a Kapton-covered glass heatbed.
