A number of IKEA ceiling pendant lamps - including the "Death Star" one - are shipped without any means of securing the 'cup' to the ceiling. They appear to have discontinued the 'hook', which would at least facilitate the fixing, but still leave the cup suspended precariously.\r\n\r\nThis is an effort to address a bit of poor design. The plate attaches directly to the ceiling then you can drill three holes (about 3mm) in the cup and screw it securely to the plate.
