Ceiling Light Fixture Vent

Ceiling Light Fixture Vent

thingiverse

This is a rant about the common 10in round lights that clutter every corner of America. I decided to give those new-fangled LED bulbs in my living room a shot, but they burned out way sooner than expected. After yanking them out, I noticed the base of each bulb was cracked, which made me realize they weren't exactly designed for enclosed fixtures. No way was I going back to those outdated incandescent bulbs, so I whipped up this rant.\r\n\r\nYou'll need to print it three times to get a decent 10 in circle. My light fixture came with a spacer that stood at 3/4 tall, but I've ditched the thing since this rant is roughly that height. I've just put my design into action and am crossing my fingers it will solve my problem - if not, hey, at least it's pretty cool!
