Lamp Spindent was created by Nick Sadowsky. This lamp is designed for import and control via a UI composed of two components: move and stretch. To see the lamp in action, view the video at http://youtu.be/19bpDR8qv68, which showcases its functionality under Blender Cycles and Vray. The materials used are anodized aluminum and oak wood, along with a light bulb. In 3ds Max, adjusting the blend amount factor of the first coat material in the LightbulbWhite_000 material to black or white achieves the desired effect. This model features 48,128 polys with Turbosmooth applied (three iterations) and 48,128 faces with Subdivision Surface Modifier (three subdivisions). An Override NodeGroup was added to reduce fireflies and noise, allowing other shaders to view this material as a diffuse shader. Texture contents include: 1K woodWorn0001 (diffuse map, displacement map, normal map, specular map, reflection map) 1K brushedWorn Braided Sleeving Cable (approximately 1.5K) Usage notes: When importing or appending elements of the lamp, be careful to select all meshes and bones. If you want to create copies of an already imported model, unfreeze all layers, select all meshes and bones, and then copy the model.
