Ceiling Hook

I would print this in PETG or ABS, angling the hook for added strength. Designed initially for hanging stuffed animals, this 3D printed part proved unexpectedly robust. Caution is advised when suspending objects from 3D printed components, as they can be prone to failure under stress. The design features a toggle bolt attachment point, which must be secured prior to sliding the dovetail joint into place. However, printers exhibit varying levels of precision, so it's crucial to account for any discrepancies in the dovetail fit. Following my initial test, I found that the hook failed at approximately 150 pounds with PETG material. While results may differ, this experience prompted me to create a ring-style variant, engineered to provide enhanced strength and reliability.
