Ceiling Fan Yoke

Ceiling Fan Yoke

thingiverse

This is a custom ceiling fan yoke designed for ceilings with a 35 degree pitch. Most standard ceiling fans aren't built to handle slopes steeper than 20 degrees, so this part makes up for it by adjusting the downrod's placement in the yoke by nearly 10mm. At 35 degrees, the rod will stick out from the cap centered on the fan. You won't be able to see a true vertical alignment of the downrod. Blind nuts inside the yoke hold bolts to secure the downrod, and I've included provisions for 1/2" 10/24 bolts and nuts. There's also a slot in the top where you can insert a grounding wire - it gets trapped behind the downrod retention nut. Everything else assembles exactly like the original yoke. This custom yoke was made specifically for a 52" Casa Delta-Wing Bronze Outdoor LED Ceiling Fan, but I believe it will work with many other models and vendors. I'm using Slic3r to create G-code. SketchUp files are included.
