Ceiling Fan Mounting Box Conversion Bracket
thingiverse
I designed a custom light fixture adapter in Fusion 360 to fit an irregularly shaped electrical box. Initially, I messed up the scaling and had to enlarge the design by 105% during the slicing process. The mounting screws are spaced exactly 3 inches apart from center, with holes modeled and printed for M4 x 0.7 threads, ensuring high resolution. The slots serve as pass-throughs for a matching machine screw to secure the bracket to the electrical box. Both threaded holes and slots are countersunk to prevent interference from machine screw heads. If anyone uses this design besides me, I'll be surprised. However, I've heavily relied on community designs in the past, so sharing my own creation seems like a good idea. Feel free to ask questions or clarify any concerns. Please refrain from offering unsolicited criticism about code compliance or suitability for light fixtures, as I'm confident in the design's durability and effectiveness compared to other options.
