Ceiling Fan Light Cover
thingiverse
Long ago, I failed to replace the ceiling fan's light bulb cover, which is not a shade. Frustrated by the exposed bulb, I decided to print a replacement using my PrinterBot Plus. The five and a half hour print resulted in a stylish design that I liked even better than the original glass, with the PLA material allowing light to pass through. I mounted the new cover, showcasing the light's passage through the PLA, and considered replacing other covers in my house. To create your own, use PLA for its aesthetics, ensure a gap for cooling, drill holes for mounting with drywall screws at hand, and verify the light bulb's temperature to avoid melting the material. Enjoy your new, customized ceiling fan cover!
