Ceiling fan controller wall mount

I created a new fixture by removing an old house humidifier dial that had left behind a slightly larger imperfection on the wall. As a result, I designed and built a wall mount for the ceiling fan controller to conceal the flaw (and move the controller out of my puppy's line of sight). The mount could have been smaller, but it was sized to match the dimensions of the blemish, and the screw holes were positioned to utilize the existing holes in the wall. Although the controller has a slight wobble in its holder, it won't come loose if bumped or jostled.
