This little bugger goes slips onto the end of a pole and lets you pull the chains of ceiling fans beyond the reach of mortals such as you or I. This one in specifically molded to grab the oval weight on the end of the Hunter fan in my living room, but I've seen similar on most brands, so I figure it should work. LMK. For my own pole, I used one of those garden stakes you get at the hardware store (because it was handy). The long green plastic stakes. They are about 11mm-ish wide. Suspecting not everyone would have one of those laying about, I also adapted this to fit on a Swiffer pole. Both models are included. UPDATE 12/13/20: I redesigned the Swiffer version, making the clip separate so that it could be printed horizontally, for greater strength.
