Simon Vergauwen sought to rectify a faulty D-Pad on his Amiga CD32 Controller, prompting me to create a repair component tailored to restore the original functionality of the D-Pad. The fix necessitates precision notches in the existing D-pad to ensure a seamless integration. To implement this solution, carefully drill or engrave the necessary notches into the original D-pad. Once prepared, apply a suitable adhesive to secure the fix firmly within the recessed area. Although Simon Vergauwen chose not to utilize adhesives for his repair, he confirmed that the modified D-Pad functions flawlessly.
