In my car, the air vents aren't located at a handy spot to use my Air vent mount for my phone. It seems like me screen was always blocked for 50% bij my steering wheel.

3d printing to the rescue! This 2 piece print will slide into my CD slot and can hold my air vent mount perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised by how firm the grip is!

I recommend printing in something that can hold up against warm temperatures during the summertime. I printed mine in PETG.

All you need is an M4 screw (16mm long), but hey, I bet you can print it in one go as well if you merge the files. I wanted to print the insert in one direction and the main part in another, so I split it up.

you can see the nut at the backside. The gcode of the main body will pause to let you test the fitting of the nut at 2h54m. If it doesn't fit you can abort right there, otherwise just cary on :)

update 2021-03-11: I've make a new Main part named `Main_RoundedBack`. It is the main block that holds the AirFrame, only it has a rounded edge to allow it to tilt left/right bij 7.5 degree's max. This print file will NOT pause like the other main part.

In retrospect, I made the base “clamp” on to the screw, and the nut itself is in the main part … That probably wasn't smart as you can't make another full turn near the end, but that said, on my run it was solid so, just like Elsa, I let it go.
