Do you miss a CD drive in your laptop? If you do, maybe it's hiding in an old laptop somewhere. I repurposed these drives into custom cases. One has a screw on top and the other one can be glued or friction welded onto the case. To secure the screw-on model, seven M3 screws (up to 150mm long) are required along with an adapter to connect the CD drive to your computer or laptop.
