Only three easy-to-make 3D printed pieces connect a servo to a stepper motor, creating a data plotter that's perfect for round-the-clock tracking of temperature, humidity or any other parameter you want to monitor. The adapter on the stepper motor lets you clamp an old CD or DVD onto it, and the motor will rotate at a steady pace based on how long you need each rotation to last. Meanwhile, the servo motor keeps a close eye on the value of what's being measured and moves the pen holder accordingly. Not into science? You can still use this setup as a spirograph and create some awesome designs.
