CD Case Planter Stand

My daughter's class is diving into the inner workings of plants, and they're taking it to the next level by growing a plant inside a CD jewel case. The jewel case provides an unparalleled view of the root structure as it develops. To prevent the cases from toppling over while their specimens grow, I created a small stand that presses directly onto the bottom of each jewel case.
