CD Case /Headphones/Guitar HOLDER
thingiverse
Here are the details about this music-related item set consisting of three pieces: a stand for guitars, CDs, and other objects. The set includes two main pieces, one open and the other closed, along with an end piece. The end piece fits into the open piece via dimensional tolerance using two towers in two cavities on the open piece. All three pieces were designed to be printed in 3D, despite their complex shapes, they all have a flat surface that provides support during printing. They can also be printed on a 20x20 cm plate printer. The dimensions of each piece were chosen based on specific needs: the open piece, which is the largest, was designed to hold CD cases and A4-sized books. Its dimensions were also chosen to accommodate various guitars through their neck section, as well as headphones and their corresponding cables for guitar or headphones. This design allows users to place the stand parallel to the floor or rotated up to 45 degrees in both directions without losing functionality, providing multiple ways to hold objects. While these pieces are designed specifically for certain objects, simple geometries and pure shapes were used to resolve their support needs while also generating "generic" supports that can be functional with other objects. Following a simple logic, if the stand works for an A4 format, it is possible to download, modify, and upload it again to print and solve the need for another format. That's why I decided to break down the products into two types: open and closed, as they respond to different needs, since size variations can be changed during printing without redesigning them. Both pieces can be mounted on a wall using a 3.5x50 screw and according to the weight they will support, Nº5-Nº6-Nº8 washers can be used.
