CCP Dash Button - Cloud and on-prem versions
thingiverse
The CCPDashButton is a custom-made ESP32 case featuring an OLED display, designed as a dash button. When pressed, it provisions a production-grade Kubernetes cluster in a lab using Cisco Container Platform. This project can be explored on GitHub at https://github.com/fdiniro/CCPDashButton. The case comes in two styles: house shape and cloud shape. These shapes are intended to facilitate the deployment of a Kubernetes cluster via the Cisco Container Platform, either on-premises (house shape) or in AWS (cloud shape). To differentiate the button from the case, users with dual-extrusion printers can print the button in a contrasting color. For instance, I chose to match the button's color to that of the case. If you have a printer prone to producing "fat" initial layers, adjust the "Initial layer horizontal expansion" setting to -0.2 or -0.4. This ensures that the low tolerance in the button does not result in it becoming stuck to the cover during printing. I printed the CCPDashButton at 0.2mm layer height on an Ultimaker 3 using PLA filament at 210°C, achieving a nearly flawless outcome. Experimenting with flow rates may be necessary if you experience "beefy" layers, as I found that a 96% flow rate produced better results in my case.
