Battery Clip for Tamiya CC01 Chassis This battery clip is designed to work seamlessly with the Tamiya CC01 chassis, providing a snug fit that keeps power cables and balance leads neatly out of the way. The extended lobe of the clip effectively prevents modern LiPo batteries from deforming lexan bodies. As seen in the picture, this battery clip is perfectly fitted under a Toyota Land Cruiser. Although it's been tried under various other Tamiya bodies, results are not yet perfect due to inherent slop in the fitting location. The clip has a tendency to twist away from the battery, but there doesn't seem to be an effective way around this without creating an additional part that clips over the top. This design is specifically tailored to work with Core RC LiPo packs, which have the same dimensions as NiMH stick packs. For other LiPos, you may need to make some adjustments by sculpting 1-2mm off the back of the clip. Printed using a standard Elegoo Mars printer and stock settings, best results were achieved at an approximate 45-degree angle from vertical and with a very slight twist on a horizontal axis.
